Prioritize Content Creation for Massive Growth [Part 1 of 4]

In 2022, I focused on optimizing everything - within my own business and when working with my clients. While leaning into mastering what was already working in the 40+ businesses I had my hands in last year, one thing became as crystal clear as a Versace Medusa champagne flute (just like the ones my client, Tabloozah, rents for their couture tablescapes in Atlanta)...

The #1 thing that always separates my most successful clients from those who aren't quite there yet is: Consistent Charismatic Content Creation. How's that for alliteration? Phew...

Clients that prioritize CONTENT CREATION always have higher sales (like 7-figure revenue), successful launches, and continue to grow engaged audiences ready to buy their next offer.

In 2023, nearly 30 years after Bill Gates furnished us with the quote, "Content is King," we're only now realizing the gravity of that 1996 observation by the famous tech thought leader.

What does that even mean? It implies that unique, high-quality, interesting, and relevant content contributes significantly to the success of companies on the Internet.

Launch after launch, clients continue to be shocked at the sheer amount of content production it takes to develop the "like, know, trust" factor that compels people to buy your offer/service/product. Yeah - that killer sales page I wrote for you isn't enough... especially when only six people ever see it - and one of those is your mom, and the other is your BFF.

That means unless you spend a significant amount of time creating content that resonates with your audience, you will hit a plateau and never, seriously never, reach that next level in your business.

In fact, consistently well-done content is the precursor to developing offers that will be surefire winners every time you launch.

Good (and consistent) content --> engagement --> your audience telling you exactly what they want from you --> your solution creation --> Your service/offer/product--> $$$$$ --> Your professional satisfaction

And, if you're thinking, "this is the year I make a course/membership/whatever..." stop and consider this first.

Before you embark on the "passive income" path, evaluate your content creation as it is right now.

  • Do you have an idea bank where you collect all those random but awesome thoughts, phrases, and topics of discussion?

  • How about a workflow that supports your drafting/editing/posting process?

  • Are you optimizing (woo-hoo for bringing things full circle here) your content with intentional repurposing?

Because unless you've got your content creation process locked down and you're fully booked out for at least 2-3 months, you aren't ready to take the leap into passive income.

The process of hitting your stride producing content that is valuable, relevant, consistent, and will ensure your next move is a slam-freaking-dunk is A LOT to take on. So, you don't want to wait until you're also developing a product or launching it to figure out your groove... That's exactly what causes my clients to spin out during their launches!

This is the 1st of a 4 part series about the importance of Content Creation. Stay tuned for more each week in January.

In the meantime, book a Content Creation Intensive with me here.

In our time together, we'll:

  • Create an Idea Bank system to drop all your topics and thoughts

  • Establish a workflow for drafting, editing, and publishing your content

  • Develop an action plan to repurpose your content across multiple platforms

  • Ensure you have multiple call-to-action options, so all of your content becomes a pipeline for conversion

  • Brainstorm a year's worth of solutions-based content

*You'll walk away with a system and a plan to produce content with intention and ease.

Whether you've already started planning your content or feel completely overwhelmed at the thought of adding this to your business plan, take 90 minutes with me to get a system and a plan in place.

This is the most important step you can take in your business this year - the sooner you make killer content creation a priority in your business, the faster you can move forward with your other big goals for the year!
